Notes from the Moms Club,

• We need to make sure all parents have gone to www.borowrestling.org to register their email addresses. We are trying our best to communicate through registered emails & through this website.

• We had asked moms to decorate their sons’ locker no later than the Fairfield Invitational. Since a lot of moms were not present for the first Moms Club meeting they were not aware of this. So we are asking to please have them decorated before next weeks home duel against Troy.

• We have a Moms Club fund that pays for things like the Last Supper, the Hospitality Room at the duels, Senior Gifts, Coaches Gifts & feeding the team at meets. This year we were not sure what the cost of feeding the team would be as Coach Root had requested something different from previous coaches. Each year we try to have a small balance that we carry offer so expenses like the Last Supper & Senior Banners can be paid for during preseason. This year since we did not do the Last Supper & we didn’t have any Senior Wrestlers for banners this money has been used to feed the team up to this point. However, that money has all been used. We average $50-$100 on feeding the team depending on whether it is a duel or an all day tournament. We have had 2 or 3 families pay this year’s dues of $75.00 & we are now in need of collecting everyone else’s. If you could please mail your dues to Lori Riegle at 45 Callaway, Springboro Ohio that would be greatly appreciated. Checks may be made payable to: BORO MOM CLUB. Please do not send your dues with your sons, as we do not want any wrestlers responsible for making sure money gets where it is suppose to.

• Senior night will be Wednesday, January 21 against Troy. Even though we do not have a Senior Wrestler, we will be honoring Zach Hibberd who has been the wrestling student trainer for the last 4 yrs. So please plan on being a little early to the duels on Wednesday night to honor Zach.

• Springboro Boosters is in need of more parent support. As many of you know the Boosters help pay for things like uniforms, warm ups or other needs that a coach may have each year. Booster meetings are once a month & the only fundraiser they generally do is Casino Night which is Feb. 28th this year at Heatherwoode Golf Clubhouse. Please show your support to the athletic boosters by attending meetings & Casino Night. And feel free to go a step further & volunteer to help at Casino Night, just contact Troy Holtrey at tholtry@springboro.org.

• There is a note on the Moms Club page about doing our annual Spaghetti Dinner following the Troy Duels since Springboro is not hosting their annual Springboro Duels Tournament. However, due to lack of funds & now lack of time that will not be happening.

• Please check the website regularly. As we will keep you informed through the website of any updates or meetings that may be planned.

Thanks for your continued support
Robyn Ramsey
