SAW (Springboro Amateur Wrestling) is a non-profit organization building leaders through the sport of wrestling.

The new season begins soon. Practice will begin the week of 11/14/2011.

Sign-up dates are 10/16, 10/30, and 11/6 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the High School wrestling room
(enter school through athletic entrance).

Bring a completed copy of the Registration Form, the Medical Waiver, and a copy of your child’s birth certificate on one of the sign-up dates.


About the Team: The team is for Springboro grade school children, grades Kindergarten through sixth grade. This will be our 21th season as members of the Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association.
About Wrestling: Our goal is to teach young children the sport of wrestling. The emphasis for these youngsters is to learn and have fun. Each child will compete against opponents who are their same age and weight.
Benefits: The kids have fun participating in the program, and at the same time develop self confidence, self discipline, strength and stamina. They learn to participate as an individual, and as part of a team.
Practices: The kids will practice 2 nights a week. All practice sessions will be held in the Springboro High School Wrestling room.
Meets: There will be meets on Sunday afternoons, We have one home meet, with others a short distance from Springboro. Each participant wrestles 3 matches at each meet.

About SAW

SAW was formed in 2003 with a seven member governance board to support and promote wrestling at all levels in Springboro Ohio. Starting with the 2004 wrestling season, SAW supported both traveling and scholastic wrestling teams at the Pee Wee, Junior High, and High School levels.
